So after months of planning, promoting and organising, our first Sales BluPrint Workshop went ahead last Thursday. With the smell of fresh coffee and salty bacon wafting through the air, people arrived with the usual sense of slight trepidation we have all suffered at some point, as if you are stepping onto an unknown planet for the first time. With a little encouragement and a healthy dose of caffeine people started to mingle and chat about travel, life and business. The atmosphere started to grow until they were ushered into the workshop itself. It was quite an attendance, in fact we were struggling to fit everyone in, we packed them in like sardines in a crushed tin box (It wasn’t actually that bad but not far off). Whilst munching on their breakfast of bacon sarnies, danish pastries and fruit, the session began.
It went without a hitch, other than a few mis-timings on the slides by Patrick. The engagement level grew until ideas were flowing from all areas of the room. People were sharing their sales experience and others were scribbling notes like their life depended on it. We walked them through the four key areas that make the difference when selling; Communication, Questioning, Objection Handling and Closing. There were questions coming from left, right and centre to the point that we slightly ran over the allocated time however we wanted everyone to share their thoughts. There were discussions ranging from what is the right clothing to wear on a sales meeting to the problems of loving your product too much which can lead to great heartache when people don’t like it.
The workshop was a great success with massively high energy, great questions and amazing ideas being shared and they were also kind enough to give us their feedback on what they thought of the morning:
“Brilliant experience, feeling positive, very inspiring.” Deborah Beckett
“Super empowering start to the day. Fantastic session” Paul Bromley
“The presentation was informed, relevant and practical and well worth the time investment.” James O’Dwyer
People stayed for a while after the session, networking and sharing experiences with others whilst enjoying another coffee or tea. They left the building pumped up with the knowledge of how to improve their sales in the future.
Overall our first Sales BluPrint was a huge success and the atmosphere was electric. We have learned so much just from this one session and next time it will be even better. We would love to see you there at 8am Thursday 17th September here at Airedale House in Leeds. This is free so you can’t really say fairer than that. We are also really proud to say 100% of attendees said they would recommend the Sales BluPrint to a friend
We cannot wait to meet you, find out about your business and help your sales grow.
Until then, have a great day.
